From Concept to Launch
We work closely with customers to define and analyze mission and payload requirements and tailor satellite solutions to support new technology demonstrations, new missions, and new opportunities to explore the possibilities of space.
Our range of expertise includes support for space-based applications including:
- Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)
- Broadband/Narrowband Communications
- Optical and RF Communications
- Climate/Weather Monitoring/Forecasting
- Environmental Data Collection
- Earth and Cislunar Observation
Weather & Earth Observation
Our Electro Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Weather System (EWS) satellites offer advanced data collection capabilities to relay global cloud characterization, high-resolution weather imagery, and environmental data products for use in military, research, government and commercial applications worldwide.
Our unique spacecraft designs, payloads, and on-orbit mission services are supporting warfighters by providing reliable, timely global weather imagery and data to assist in mission planning and execution.
We’re launching spacecraft to collect, process, and distribute environment, weather, and wildlife migration data, helping scientists and researchers worldwide gain a better understanding of how changes in the environment affect the world we live in.
We are also designing satellites and integrating payloads to measure solar irradiance and provide researchers with continuous, high-quality monitoring data to improve our understanding of how the Sun’s energy influences Earth’s climate.
Resilient Optical Communications
GA-EMS’ next generation satellites with integrated Optical Communication Terminal (OCT) payloads provide faster, more secure, higher fidelity transmissions to ensure resilient 24/7 connectivity.
OCTs offer robust space-to-space, space-to-air and space-to-ground communication in a degraded environment. Designed and built to conform to Space Development Agency standards, GA-EMS’ OCTs will support a vast network of satellites, data and information sharing, and collective on-orbit computing.
Cislunar Space Situational Awareness
GA-EMS is leveraging our expertise in satellite design, manufacturing and payload development and integration to build rad-hardened spacecraft capable of demonstrating space situational awareness and position, navigation and timing techniques to detect and track objects in the challenging cislunar space environment.
